One of four pubs in Bury St Edmunds and the surrounding villages of Suffolk which is run by the local entrepreneur David Marjoram. Modern décor themed throughout whilst retaining that pub feel is something David does in all of his establishments, and does it well! Posh pub grub is the order of the day with steaks, locally sourced poultry and home grown vegetables always on the menu. In the summer months this family friendly pub has a small children's play area and you can even feed the chickens, if they are not busy laying eggs for hungry Patrons! There is a large car park on site. Hotel rooms are clean and tidy with free wifi and hot drink making facilities. Try to get a room away from the busy road which goes through the village as it can be a little noisy in the morning.
